Tuesday July 7, 2009

Another cloudy morning! At least it was a little warmer at 11C (52F) and it wasn't raining.

This is another photo taken just across the Trans Canada from the campground.

The wild carrot here is really tall!

Sunset from the overlook

And from Government Dock Beach

Last night we went out for sunset. It was a bit rainy and foggy but it was pretty.

We did get a bit of sun later in the day so we set off to find Driftwood Beach which is part of the Michipicoten Post Provincial Park. We had met a lady last night who told us it was a pretty beach and it was but the road to get there is a single lane and not in the best shape. So we took our photos and came home just in time to put the stew on for dinner.

  1. Thank you for taking us along the paths. I love the lake views.

  2. Nice pics, Sandra - keep 'em comin!

  3. It is a vast wilderness up there, and so beautiful too. Nice photos, I'm riding along!

  4. Awesome photos, Sandra! Cute moose pic, he looks like Bullwinkle with his goofy new antlers! LOL
