We left Double M Campground around 10:45 a.m. and arrived in Toronto around 12:30 p.m. Above is a photo of Betty's condo building as we were coming off the freeway.Gordon was heading to Ottawa for a CT scan and was going to have dinner with my sister, Margie and her family and stay there overnight.
After dropping off stuff at the condo we headed out for an afternoon of shopping at Sherway Gardens. We spent about four hours there and didn't buy anything.
Betty had made arrangements for her friends, Bonnie and Diane to join us. She wasn't able to talk to either one of them directly so left messages. Bonnie knew we were coming but Diane didn't. Both of them showed up at The Pickle Barrel at the Mall for our dinner get together. I had an absolutely scrumptious piece of fish with a lovely sauce served on some kind of rice. It was very, very good!
