Thursday February 25, 2010-Snow!

We had quite a bit of wet, misty snow today but it was melting when it hit the road. We did get some accumulation in the yard. I tried to go for a walk but the water was seeping through my sneakers so gave up on that. The temperature was freezing or above all day.

I was watching the antics of the squirrels in the backyard this morning. They're quite entertaining to watch.

Here he is trying to get on the bird feeder and the suet feeder. They're taken through the glass patio door so are a little blurry.

I spent most of the day watching TV. That something I don't normally do during the day when I'm in the RV. I seem to have other things to occupy me.

I made a pan of stew last night so we had that with freshly baked cornbread for dinner. That's something else I'm running low on - cornbread mix. There's only one kind that I've found that doesn't have flour in it and you can't get it everywhere but you definitely can't get it in Ontario!

  1. I love the antics of the squirrels, they'll do anything to get to bird seeds/food. We have one outside the RV we watch a lot. Snowed here too today.

  2. Oh, the poor squirrel was hungry! But he sure is cute. Thank you.
Spring is around the corner, keep your chin up.

  3. LOL Sandra! I have the same iron gazebo frameworks out of MY patio doors and birdfeeders right by it too! I have a bunch of pictures and video I shot of the big grey squirrels doing their antics on the railings. They twirl around like acrobats in the circus to keep reaching the feeders!

We keep filling them and don't shoo off the squirrels, as the dogs love the entertainment of watching them. It's their *cable tv* !!!
