I woke up this morning to pouring rain, so no walk for me!When I checked my email I had an email from the lady at my former office that I had planned to go to see today saying 'do you really want to go out in this weather'. So I replied saying I'd come in one day next week before we leave the area.
So, plans canceled, what do I do today? I was sitting playing mindless Facebook games when I decided I'd defrost the freezer and clean the refrigerator. I had planned to do that later this week anyway so there's no time like the present. Ok that's done. Back to playing mindless games.
Eventually I got around to doing some vacuuming. I've wanted to vacuum behind the recliners but there are so many wires there from all our 'stuff' that Gordon has to be around to look after the wires so today was the day!
We were both doing some research today for our trip to Northern Ontario. I found a cool site that shows details of what's mile to mile along the route. Very useful site, to see it, click here.
There aren't many days when I don't go outside at all but today was one of them. Therefore I've borrowed one of Gordon's photos for my blog photo today. The photo is of one of the campground's irises.
When you come through North Bay, ON , you may be interested in seeing the Dionne Quintuplets Museum. It is along Hwy. 11 on the North Bay bypass, and you will go right by it.
ReplyDeleteYes, I have recommended the Mile By Mile site to several folks when they are traveling. Having it right there on your computer is sometimes handier than a book.
ReplyDeleteGee, I wish I had to worry about "what shall I do today?". I have so much to do, I don't know when it will all get done.
The hot summers slow down work, too.
