My latest card

I just completed this watercolour of a pileated woodpecker for my sister's birthday card. She doesn't have internet any more so I can't just message her. Hope she likes it!

Paintings so far in 2020

El Capitan in very early morning, Yosemite National Park (painted from Gordon's photo)

My cityscape created from a pour gone wrong

Acrylic 16x20 on canvas board. This painting has a story. I bought the frame and canvas at a local auction. The original painting was of birds. I gessoed over it and decided to do an acrylic pour but I had seen a pour done of faces, so I made face shapes with a glue gun. Well that went horribly wrong so I painted over the canvas again trying to to think of what I could do with it now that it had the hot glue lines for the faces. So this is what I came up with.
